We had a fantastic experience. To move to Santa Rosa Beach from another state, we used U-Pack and had three Pods delivered in our driveway. We arranged for help with Emerald Moving and Storage to unload the pods. They sent Jordan and Paul, who were just great! They were polite, professional, took very good care of everything they unloaded, were patient as we tried different configurations with couches and chairs, and very pleasant as they did their work. Couldn't be happier!

If you are doing a move in South Walton, call Emerald. They aim to be best and are well on their way to hitting that goal. They took great care with our items and made sure their time was well spent. On our move date it was raining and the guys made sure everything stayed dry. 5 stars all the way.

This is the second wonderful experience we've had with Emerald Moving & Storage. Our first move was a big one and they did a great job there; this one was a smaller, local move of some furniture items. Same great experience! Our team was prompt, professional, polite, and so careful and thorough in everything they did. They even helped us go through our storage unit to locate couch cushions that had been boxed up amongst the belongings there. Total pleasure to work with this company; we'd highly suggest them and will definitely use them again!

We used Emerald to put our household goods in storage 5 months ago while our house was being remodeled. They moved us back in yesterday and did an outstanding job. The crew was professional, friendly, and courteous. It was not the easiest move-in due to some ongoing work being done to finish the remodel, but no challenge was too big or met with anything but a "can do" attitude. They started first thing in the morning and worked well into the evening to get everything set up. I highly recommend Emerald, they are the best.

Aaron, Jordan, & Paul were fantastic! Extremely professional, efficient, and positive!! Moved a 2,600 sq. foot home of mostly furniture and a few boxes to a 10 x 15 storage unit in 5 hours. Made sure all bed frames and furniture was wrapped to prevent damage/dirt during the move and storage. Payment and tip were able to be digital, made for easy payment with a receipt automatically sent to our e-mail. Best experience we have had with close to a dozen moves in our day! Thank you Tim Barkley & Team at Emerald Moving & Storage for a job well done. We will use you for all our moves in the Santa Rosa Beach/Florida area.

We hired Tim Barkley’s company twice in the past three months after relocating here from Colorado. Our belongings initially had to be stored upon arriving here while we awaited the completion of our home build. Our CO mover was negligent in securing our personal items for the long-distance transport, and the crew from Emerald Moving & Storage had an unexpected, unstable mess to unload and place in storage. They were professional, patient and empathetic throughout the process. I contacted Tim three months later to move the items out of storage and into our new home. We worked very collaboratively together to ensure that they would not be held responsible for the damages that occurred on the original transport. Tim’s crew was very patient while we reviewed items, including unwrapping/rewrapping many large items to check for potential damage. We could not have asked for a better group to work with in this unfortunate situation. We’d highly recommend Emerald Moving & Storage. company.

I was so impressed with the staff. Tim, the owner, was helpful and accurate on moving costs and supplies. The two men who made the move were prompt, extremely efficient, and the fastest workers I've seen. One retired veteran would drop off a large load of items, then RUN back to the truck for his next load... In Florida July heat! It was difficult to believe how much they accomplished in the amount of time they had; I might not believe it if I hadn't seen it myself!

I am a local realtor and I was looking for a mover to use personally for a local move, and also one I can recommend to my clients after a personal experience. By the end of the day, these guys, Aaron, Reed and Harley felt like part of our family. They literally rolled out a red slip proof runway to protect the floors and wrapped corners of the house to protect them. These things I never saw on previous moves. They took great care of all our furniture. Will definitely recommend them going forward. Smart, professional, considerate and more!.

Great folks. They were life savers. I also got lucky and got a rush schedule. They did everything professionally and was very careful with my belongings. They were fast and got everything out of the house without breaking anything. They also held my items until international shipping picks up my items.

Amazing team. Handled our 500lb glass table top with such care. Had to bring in more help. They use wall guards to avoid nicks. We highly recommend Emerald Moving & Storage. They treat your items like their own and are strategic about how to handle items.

THE BEST!! Moving can be such an exhausting, lugging, and tedious experience, especially when considering moving companies alone! What is the normal pay per hour? Are they clean, dependable, reliable, and trustworthy? These were all questions racing through my head! I must've called 6 local companies to shop quotes, and there was a company that quoted less than this company. With that said, I was SOLD the very minute I spoke with Tim (Owner). He was professional, friendly, transparent, and quick to respond/provide updates! Come to find out - they’re a local veteran family owned and operated business. The gentlemen (respectfully, more like Giants, in my opinion) showed up on time and were extremely pleasant, polite, respectful, and clean. They also had THE MOST upbeat and positive attitude the entire time, even after completing a larger moving job before mine. They arrived around 4 pm and everything was settled and completed by 10 PM +/-. The guys also arrived on time, clean cut, and in uniform, which doesn't appear to be a common practice in their industry (at least, not here along the Emerald Coast anyway). True professionals! They assisted us in moving 2 apartments (two different buildings - one on the 3rd floor and the other on the 2nd floor) into one town house (2-stories), so there were 3 places total and a hell of a lot of stairs. It didn't phase these gentlemen AT ALL. They worked their tales off and were FAST with no foolery or BS. I could tell they had a plan in place before they arrived, and they executed their plan flawlessly. I would highly recommend Emerald Moving & Storage, and I have already referred my friends/family/clients to them. I’d rate my overall experience with their company 12/10! Give Tim a call and a chance to earn your business - I do not think you will be disappointed!

This is an unbelievable moving company. Tim, Aaron, Reid and Mike moved us from Watercolor to storage, then to Watersound Origins. And, we will call them for our move back to Watercolor. This is a 5 star white glove company and we cannot say enough about how careful they were with all our belongings. Thank you for all your hard work!

I usually don’t write reviews but had to because these guys were amazing at moving us. My husband and I moved to a condo on the second floor with no elevator and a very narrow staircase they were unbelievable at moving my extra large pieces of furniture into this condo. They were so upbeat even though they were drenched in sweat from working so hard. I would definitely recommend them, awesome!,

Outstanding service from start to finish, we had to change dates multiple times and they made it stress free each time. The movers were very professional and took the utmost care of all our furniture and walls. The moving crew work from start to finish without wasting any time. I needed a large heavy roll top desk delivered to my 3rd floor apt. Tim returned my voice message almost immediately, even though it was Sunday! We arranged to have the desk picked up and delivered the following evening! Tim and Mark promptly picked up and delivered the desk, somehow carrying it flawlessly and carefully up the three flights of steps and into my apt. They were very professional, friendly and great to work with! The family where they picked up the desk from said the same thing. Tim charged me less then the minimum amount as it was just one item, even though it was an amazing feat to carry it up to the third floor! They also carried an old item away for me that I wasn’t able to lift, at no extra charge. Thank you Tim and Mark! I was extremely impressed, and highly recommend Tim and his crew! They are the best.

Excellent moving company. We had two movers, which included the owner of the company, come to our home to help us move from one residence to another. The entire experience was better than any other moving experiences that my wife and I had been in. The guys were fast and efficient. They did not try to rush us but they also didn’t try to stall us for more money. We felt comfortable with the movers dealing with our household goods. I will 100% be dealing with this company again when and if the time comes

I've moved several times & using movers. Unfortunately, I have been anywhere from horrified to just disappointed with the service I received.However, when I came to Miramar Beach to help my Mom move not only from where she lived, but also things out of 2 storage units, I went searching for movers in THIS Area. After calling a few, checking reviews and gut feeling, I landed on EMERALD MOVING...I am NOT a person who does reviews ... but these 2 young men NEEDED to be PRAISED for the Absolutely Wonderful Job they did. I'd give MORE STARS if I Could 🙂 ...PROFESSIONAL, COURTEOUS, HELPFUL, Oh So PATIENT, and So, SO CAREFUL are just a few things that immediately come to mind when I think of how Tim and Reed worked.IF YOU ARE MOVING ... When you move, you expect something to get dismissed, something to go wrong. Certainly, I experienced none of that and my job was pretty big. The guys were courteous and professional. I'd recommend Emerald Movers to anybody.

Tim and his staff are top notch professionals! They really put you at a sense of ease, when moving in and/or out can be very stressful, a sentiment so many of us can understand.
